ATTORNEY BIOGRAPHY
Tim McCulloch was admitted to practice in California state courts in 2004 and in Arizona state courts in 2005.
Mr. McCulloch was born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971. He received his B.A. in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of California-Irvine in 2001 and his J.D. from the University of California-Davis in 2004. While attending law school, he interned with the California Department of Transportation, specifically concentrating in the area of airport and aviation law. In this capacity, Mr. McCulloch served as a legal assistant to the state attorney tasked with all state aviation matters. Mr. McCulloch's practice at Baird Williams & Greer, LLP focuses on airport and aviation law, with an increasing emphasis on construction law.
Mr. McCulloch represents numerous fixed based operators and airport sponsors. He has first-hand experience with airport land use, Part 16 complaints, permitting, noise, hangar condominium development, environmental, and grant assurance compliance issues.
Mr. McCulloch also represents commercial aviation interests. From Part 135 Air Taxi operations to Part 145 Repair Stations, each can benefit from Mr. McCulloch's aeronautical experience. Prior to entering law school, Mr. McCulloch was a full-time certified flight instructor specializing in teaching advanced aerobatics. He has over 3500 hours of flight time. In addition to possessing a flight instructor credential, Mr. McCulloch also possesses a commercial, multi-engine license with instrument. That experience means that Mr. McCulloch understands the business of aviation and has the experience to guide an operator through all the regulatory hurdles inherent in the aviation business. From startup to enforcement actions, Mr. McCulloch understands the operator's perspective. His understanding and knowledge mean that Mr. McCulloch is central to Baird Williams & Greer, LLP's future as one of the leading aviation law firms in the Southwestern United States.
