Jeff Elder has been with Baird Williams & Greer since 2008 and has been an accredited paralegal since 1990. In this position, Jeff has provided world-class assistance and support on complex commercial and personal litigation, construction law, airport and aviation law, employment law, commercial transactions and real estate, and bankruptcy. Jeff holds a wide range of responsibilities including managing case files, drafting and responding to discovery requests, analyzing, managing, summarizing and translating documents, and conducting research for both factual and legal issues related to various areas of law. He also has extensive trial experience across the country and is expert in the use of Sanction software and other trial presentation tools.
Jeff has been an integral part of many of BWG’s complex litigation cases. Most recently and as mentioned above, Valley Aviation v. City of Glendale with a jury award of $1,777,918 and RCS v. ABC Developmental Learning Centers with a jury verdict of $47,031,574.
Before joining BWG, Jeff was a solutions consultant with Encore Discovery Solutions in Phoenix where he assisted and trained law firms in data collections, an account manager with IKON Legal Document Services in Phoenix, and a paralegal with a previous law firm specializing in products liability defense and commercial transactions.
Jeff has an Associate of Applied Science Degree from American Institute and studied criminal law at Glendale Community College. Outside of work, his interests include hiking, backpacking, kayaking and spending time with two teenage daughters and wife of 20 years.
